ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Tracy L. Adkins has been writing and journaling since she was knee-high to a June bug. She moved to North Georgia at age nine for an idyllic childhood on a 300-acre farm on the Etowah river and attended high school in Blue Ridge, Georgia. She graduated from the University of Georgia, falling in love with Athens upon her arrival in 1990. She eventually spent 17 years writing software instructions, but decidedly prefers to compose prose, poetry, screenplays, and historical books. She spends her days in Athens writing and spoiling her four cats.
